Please note that the prices quoted on this site are based on my standard
inch deep sponge cakes.
 
4 inch cakes are sometimes available but will be priced differently - please contact me for more details. 
Please note that this may not be suitable for fruit cakes due to cooking time.
 
Deposit
I require a deposit of £50.00 which is non-refundable to secure your date in my diary, any remaining balance is due no later than one calendar month before the wedding date.
 
Should your final payment become overdue, I reserve the right to cancel your order with no refund of your monies paid prior to this.
 
Cancellation 
If for any reason you need to cancel your order you will not get a refund of monies already paid (I suggest that you take out a Wedding Insurance policy to cover you for any unfortunate events). Although I will try to accommodate you if I can, for example if you have to change your wedding date, providing I am available.
 
Cake stand hire
I have a large number of wedding cake stands available for hire priced at £25.00 per the day, with a £25.00 refundable deposit to ensure their safe return the day after the wedding in its original condition.  
 
Delivery
The standard price for delivery and set up of your Wedding cake is £35.00
* providing your venue is within a 10 mile radius of Birmingham B15.
 
Anything over 10 miles will be charged at 75p per mile, based on a return journey.
Alternatively you can collect your cake free of charge.
 
Please note that Wedding Cakes by Jayne accepts no responsibility if the cake is damaged in any way once it has been delivered to the venue or collected in person.
 
Disclaimer
Please ensure that all display flora, cake wires, feathers, ribbon or bows etc used for decoration purposes are removed from your cake before serving.
All my cakes and cookies are prepared where nuts are also stored – so may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.
 
How to look after your cake:
Keep the cake in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.
For sponge cakes and fruit cakes do not put the cake in a fridge or the freezer.
Once cut, store in an airtight container or cover cut sides with cling film.
 
Any fresh cream cakes need to be stored in a fridge or chiller for as long as possible prior to serving. I do not recommend leaving it out for more than 30 minutes before being served.
 
Cakes decorated with chocolate (including cigarello's) also need to be stored in a chilled area prior to serving. 
 
A sponge cake is best consumed within 3 days of purchase.
