I require a deposit of £50.00 which is non-refundable to secure your date in my diary, any remaining balance is due no later than one calendar month before the wedding date.
Should your final payment become overdue, I reserve the right to cancel your order with no refund of your monies paid prior to this.
Cake design alterations
Any amendments to the design of your cake may incur additional charges.
All amendment requests must be made at LEAST a month before the wedding date in order for these to be arranged.
Please ensure that all display flora, cake wires, feathers, ribbon or bows etc used for decoration purposes are removed from your cake before serving.
All my cakes and cookies are prepared where nuts are also stored – so may not be suitable for nut allergy sufferers.
If for any reason you need to cancel your order you will not get a refund of monies already paid (I suggest that you take out a Wedding Insurance policy to cover you for any unfortunate events).
However, I will try to accommodate you if I can, for example if you have to change your wedding date, providing I am available.
How to look after your cake:
Keep the cake in a cool place, away from direct sunlight.
For sponge cakes and fruit cakes do not put the cake in a fridge or the freezer.
Once cut, store in an airtight container or cover cut sides with cling film.
Cakes decorated with chocolate and cigarello's need to be stored in a chilled area prior to serving, especially in warmer weather. Once I have left the venue the cake is no longer my responsibilty.
Delivery and collection:
My responsiblity of the cake ends when it is set up at the venue, I will take a number of photographs of the cake, and where possible obtain a signature from the venue to say they are happy with it.
If you decide to collect your cake from me, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer to say you are happy with the cake, and you then have sole responsiblity for the cake.
Sponge and chocolate cake is best consumed within 3 days.
